The installation 'model for a floating city' which I created during my artist-in-residency at
Bamboo Curtain Studio in Zhuwei, Taiwan, in the spring of 2007, was inspired by a lecture of
the Harrisons, the American eco-activist artists, in which they sketched the consequences of
the rising sea level for low lying cities.
The objects are made of plastic boxes and bottles, bamboo and wire.
In the same period I made a number of ink paintings on digital prints.
